OFFICIAL: Zamalek complete signing of Sidy Ndiaye

Zamalek officially completed the signing of Senegalese 19-year-old striker Sidy Ndiaye from his club Guédiawaye.

Ndiaye has signed a four-year contract with Zamalek, which will keep him in Cairo until the summer of 2028.

The player will be registered as an under-23 player as per the Egyptian Premier League rules that state each club has the right to sign three U-23 foreign players.

Ndiaye was promoted to the first team last season, playing eight games and scoring five goals, which earned him a move to Cairo.

The player also got the chance to represent Senegal’s under-20 national team and will replace Jamal Mutyaba at Zamalek after the club opted against making his deal permanent.

Ndiaye will be fourth Zamalek signing of the summer. They already signed AS Saint-Étienne’s Mahmoud Bentayg, Palestinian striker Omar Faraj, and Enppi’s Mohamed Hamdi.

The White Castle open their season by playing Kenyan club Police FC in the round of 32 of the CAF Confederations Cup. They also play their arch-rivals Al Ahly on 27 September in the CAF Super Cup.
