Saudi Pro League club Al-Wehda have reportedly agreed deals for German manager Josef Zinnbauer and Uruguayan goalkeeper Ignacio de Arruabarrena to join the club next season.
According to Arriyadiyah, the club management reached a deal with Zinnbauer to lead the team next season with the 54-year-old se to leave Raja Casablanca.
He won the double last season with the Moroccan club. Before that, he was the manager of Russian club Lokomotiv Moscow and South African club Orlando Pirates.
On another note, the club have also finalised a deal with goalkeeper Ignacio de Arruabarrena. The 27-year-old shot-stopper arrived in Jeddah to prepare for Al-Wehda training camp in Alicante.
The Uruguayan will make the move on a free transfer after the end of his contract with Portuguese club Arouca.
De Arruabarrena started his career with Montevideo Wanderers in Uruguay and was promoted to the first team in 2017.
With these potential signings, Al-Wehda aim to avoid a repeat of last season’s 13th-place finish in the Saudi Pro League, which left them just outside the relegation zone.
