VIDEO: Kouka scores 94th-minute equaliser to help Alanyaspor snatch late draw

Egypt international Ahmed Hassan Kouka has scored a 94th-minute equaliser to help Alanyaspor snatch a point from Fatih Karagümrük away from home.

The goal is Kouka’s first in his second spell with Alanyaspor, having re-joined the club from local rivals Pendikspor on the deadline day of the January transfer window.

Kouka started on the bench as Valentin Eysseric gave the hosts a 24th-minute lead, nine minutes before their Cape Verdean forward Ryan Mendes was sent off.

Looking to get back into the game, Alanyaspor boss Fatih Tekke brought on Kouka at half-time for Pione Sisto as his team trailed against ten-men Karagümrük.

Despite the numerical disadvantage, Karagümrük looked set for the win, before the referee awarded Alanyaspor a late penalty, which Kouka converted in the 94th minute.

The goal is Kouka’s first in the Turkish Super Lig this season, having missed the majority of the first half of the season due to injury and the AFCON.

Overall, it’s his 11th strike for Alanyaspor in 27 games after spending last season on loan at the club from Greek giants Olympiacos.
