Bank Al Ahly sign Mohamed Ibrahim & Ahmed Yasser Rayan

Bank Al Ahly have completed the double signing of Ceramica Cleopatra duo Mohamed Ibrahim and Ahmed Yasser Rayan.

Former Zamalek midfielder Mohamed Ibrahim joins for a reported fee of around €180,000, signing a two-year deal after four years with Cleopatra FC.

Last season, Ibrahim made 37 appearances for Cleopatra, scoring twice and assisting six. He also had stints at Zamalek, Misr El-Makkasa, and Portuguese club Marítimo.

Meanwhile, Ahmed Yasser Rayan, formerly of Al Ahly, joins on a three-year deal for a transfer fee close to €365,000 to complete a massive coup for the club.

Rayan has been plying his trade at Cleopatra FC for the last two seasons after joining from Al Ahly for €560,000, making 36 appearances in the previous campaign in which he scored 11 goals and assisted twice.

The former El-Gouna striker was on the verge of joining Zamalek last January after agreeing personal terms with the Whites, but Ceramica Cleopatra refused to let him go, his father confirmed.

The duo helped Ceramica Cleopatra retain the League Cup title and finish eighth in the League and will hope to replicate a similar impact at Bank Al Ahly.
