EPFCA suspend Salah Mohsen & Ahmed Yasser Rayan

The Egyptian Professional Clubs Association (EPFCA) has issued the penalties for Gameweek 12 of the Nile League following the list of sanctions in the competition regulations for the 2023-2024 season.

The association issued sanctions on three matches: El Gouna versus Al Masry, held at Borg El Arab Stadium, which ended in a positive draw with two goals each.

Meanwhile, Baladeyet El-Mahalla played against Modern Future at their home stadium, with the hosts securing a 1-0 victory. Additionally, Ismaily managed to defeat Ceramica Cleopatra with a score of 2-1, all in the same round.

Ahmed Hamed Shousha from El Gouna and Salah Mohsen from Al Masry each face a one-match suspension after receiving two yellow cards in the same game.

The Green Eagles had signed Salah Mohsen from Al Ahly after the latter terminated Mohsen’s contract by mutual consent. Despite being sent off, Salah managed to provide an assist for a late goal, ensuring that Al Masry secured one point from the match.

Abdelrahman Gamal Semana of Baladeyet El-Mahalla faces a one-match suspension for accruing two yellow cards during the Future match, while Ahmed Yasser Rayan of Ceramica Cleopatra faces a two-match suspension for a straight red card offense during the game against Ismaily due to violent play.

The EPFCA applied the penalties per the competition regulations aimed at ensuring the smooth and organized conduct of the matches.
