Karim Hafez expresses happiness after national duty call up

Egypt international and Malatyaspor left back Karim Hafez expressed his happiness following his national duty call up.

Queiroz took over as the new Egypt manager to replace the sacked Hossam El-Badry. The Portuguese manager’s first mission will be a double-encounter against Libya in the 2022 World Cup qualifiers.

The new head coach’s foreign-based list of players that are set to join included Karim Hafez whose last game with the Pharaohs was against Niger back in 2019.

After his national duty call-up. Hafez expressed his happiness in a statement he made to ONTime Sports.

“I was surprised my name made the list, even If I don’t make it to the final game squad, it’s an honor to be called to represent the national team.

“I recovered from my hamstring injury, and the national team doctor called me two days ago.

“I received multiple offers during the summer window, but my team wanted my services in the upcoming season.”
