Egypt international Mahmoud Trezeguet has scored again in Trabzonspor’s 2-0 win over Pendikspor in the Turkish Super Lig.
Trezeguet has been in fine form for Trabzonspor netting in games against Genclerbirligi and Hatayspor in the last two weeks.
The 29-year-old continued his scoring run when his side travelled to meet 18th-placed Pendikspor in the league’s 26th round.
Despite a tough start, the visitors had to wait until the 75th minute to find the breakthrough with Trezeguet latching onto the ball at the far post from a corner delivery.
The goal was his seventh in all competitions this season and his third in the last three games as he extended his scoring streak.
Enis Destan struck five minutes later to double their advantage to secure the win and three points for Trabzonspor as they remain third in the league table.
