OFFICIAL: Amr Warda joins Pharco FC on one-year deal

Former Egypt international Amr Warda has completed a move to Egyptian side Pharco FC on a one-year deal.

After just 12 days of joining Raja Casablanca, the Moroccan giants have terminated the contract of Amr Warda by mutual consent due to mental & personal reasons, according to the club’s statement.

Prior to that, Warda became a free agent after his contract with Cypriot side Apollon Limassol FC expired earlier this summer.

Finding himself without a club once again, Warda has decided to make a return to Egypt for the first time since 2015 when he left Al Ahly for Greek side Panetolikos.

Warda signed a short-term one-year deal with Pharco to become the club’s seventh summer signing after deals that included Salah Basha, Sherif Dabo, Babacar Ndiaye, and Moses Turay.

According to the player’s father, Warda had also received an offer from Ittihad of Alexandria, the club he played for on loan in 2015, but he opted to join Pharco instead.

With 30 Egypt caps to his name, Pharco becomes Warda’s 12th football club in 12 years, with Al Ahly and PAOK FC being the most prominent clubs in his CV.
