Al-Nassr considering move to Bundesliga champion Edmond Tapsoba

Saudi giants Al-Nassr have opened talks with Burkinabe defender and Bundesliga champion Edmond Tapsoba over a potential summer move.

The news was broken by Germany’s Sky Sports and confirmed by Saudi publication Asharq Al-Awsat, who revealed that Al-Nassr are waiting for the player’s final decision before submitting their first offer to Bayer Leverkusen.

According to the reports, Al-Nassr are willing to pay Tapsoba €20 million per year and could offer his club up to €50 million to acquire the defender’s signature this summer.

However, there is still no concrete offer has been made to Leverkusen, and the German club hasn’t been informed of the player’s desire to depart the club.

Tensions have been rising in Al Nassr after their recent loss against rivals Al-Hilal in the Saudi Super Cup final and could part ways with either Sadio Mane after a reported rift with Cristiano Ronaldo.

Al-Nassr also are close to sacking their manager Luis Castro, with the club’s president Ibrahim Al-Muhaidib handing in his resignation as well.
