Chelsea winger Angelo Gabriel has completed a switch to Saudi Pro League side Al Nassr in a transfer worth around €23million.
The 19-year-old Brazilian joined Chelsea in the summer of 2023 from Santos for €15m and spent last season out on loan at Ligue 1 outfit Strasbourg.
In France, Angelo made 25 appearances in which he assisted four times before Chelsea decided to let him go permanently without making a single appearance at Stamford Bridge.
He now becomes Al-Nassr’s fifth summer signing after Mohamed Simakan, Brazilian duo Bento and Wesley, and Al-Fateh’s left-back Salem Al-Najdi.
Angelo has signed a five-year contract at Al-Nassr as he also becomes the 26th player to leave Stamford Bridge this summer.
He will be registered as one of the two U23 foreign players and will hope to help Al Nassr win their first Saudi Pro League title since 2019.
Al-Nassr started the season with four points from their opening two league games and also lost the Saudi Cup to arch-rivals Al-Hilal.
