Report: Al-Hilal ‘enquire’ about Manchester City captain Kyle Walker

Saudi Pro League champions Al-Hilal are reportedly interested in a shock move for Manchester City skipper Kyle Walker this summer.

Al-Hilal’s right-back Saud Abdelhamid is currently on the verge of joining Italian giants AS Roma on a permanent deal to become the first-ever Saudi footballer to play in Italy.

As a result, the Blues are currently looking for an ideal replacement heading into the new campaign as they look to compete on all fronts.

One of the names on their list is Manchester City’s Kyle Walker according to the latest report from Saudi news outlet Arriyadiyah.

The record Saudi champions have already initiated talks with Manchester City to explore the possibility of a potential deal for the fullback.

The 34-year-old’s current deal at the Etihad Stadium runs until the summer of 2026 following his contract extension back in September of last year after snubbing a move to Bayern Munich.

Should talks progress between both clubs, the Cityzens could demand a fee in the region of £11 million to let go of their captain.

In total, Walker has represented Manchester City on 301 occasions, winning 17 trophies including a Champions League, a Club World Cup, and six Premier League titles.
