Egypt Olympic Team manager Rogério Micale has named a 32-man squad for the upcoming training camp ahead of the decisive Zambia clash in the 2023 AFCON qualifiers.
The Egyptian U23 national team will play against Zambia for a spot in the 2023 AFCON, which is set to take place in Morocco next June.
The first-leg will take place on March 22 at the Air Defense Stadium, four days before the return-leg take place in Zambia.
The winner will qualify for the 2023 Africa U-23 Cup of Nations, which acts as a qualifier for the 2024 Olympic games in Paris.
The squad list witnessed the inclusion of Borussia mönchengladbach’s midfielder Mostafa Ashraf as the only foreign-based player after Vizela FC keeper Ahmed Nader El-Sayed was left out.

Goalkeepers: Youssef Nader (Pyramids FC), Aly El-Gabry (Cleopatra FC), Mohamed Ahmed (Arab Contractors), Hamza Alaa (Al Ahly SC).
Forwards: Abdel-Rahman Atef (Ghazl El-Mahalla), Ahmed Atef (Arab Contractors), Osama Faisal (Bank Al Ahly).
Egypt had reached this final stage after beating Eswatini national team with a clean goal scored by Osama Faisal, at Alexandria Stadium.
Morocco is hosting the U-23 Africa Cup of Nations, from which the top three teams qualify for the 2024 Paris Olympics, the fourth-place team plays a play-off with its Asian counterpart for the fourth qualifying card for the Olympics.
