Former English football player and current pundit Gary Lineker praised Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah after the Egyptian star managed to end his goal draught scoring against Huddersfield Town.

Mohamed Salah scored Liverpool’s only goal in the 24th minute in his team’s victory over Huddersfield Town in the English Premier League. This marks his fourth goal this season after a bit of rough start compared to his debut season with the Reds.

Gary Lineker praised the young star on his official Twitter account saying: “Salah scores. He’s a proper player not a flash in the pan. All goal-scorers, however good they are, go through spells where it doesn’t happen for them.”

Salah had sustained a muscular injury during Egypt’s 4-1 home victory against eSwatini in the AFCON 2019 qualifiers, the thing which ruled him out of the qualifiers fourth round encounter four days later and make an early return to Melwood.

Nonetheless, Salah’s injury appeared to be not dangerous as initially feared and he joined Liverpool’s training on Thursday along with Virgil Van Dijk who also reported a suspected broken rib during the international break with the Netherlands.
