Mohamed Salah has returned to training following an injury scare which forced him off against eSwatini and led to him leaving the national team camp early.

Following his relatively slow start to the season, things appeared to be taking a nosedive when Salah went down injured in Egypt’s 4-1 win over eSwatini. The national team officials refused to take any chances on their star man as he was sent back to Liverpool despite the Pharaohs having the return leg against eSwatini a few days later.

However, it appears that Salah will not be out for very long as he has returned to training as normal with two days to go before the Reds’ return to Premier League action against Ramadan Sobhi’s Huddersfield.

The international break was not kind to Liverpool from an injury point of view as Naby Keita is out for two weeks while Sadio Mane has a broken hand although it may not keep him out at all.

Similarly to Salah, Virgil Van Dijk has also returned to training after it was revealed that he had been playing this season with two broken ribs which led to him missing the Netherlands’ derby with Belgium.

Should Salah be ready in time, he may return in Liverpool’s next game which is away at Huddersfield at 6:30PM Egyptian time.
