When asked by TV channel BT Sport after the match if he was aware that his goal against Huddersfield was his 50th in the Premier League, Salah said: “It’s a good feeling, but as I said last season, the most important thing is to help the team collect the needed points.

“We are on the right track and we’re happy with today’s result.”
