Al Masry file lawsuit to play at Port Said Stadium again

Al Masry
Al Masry who have yet to play on their home ground ever since the Port Said Stadium Massacre on 1/2/2012, filed a lawsuit to play once again on their stadium.

Ever since the Port Said stadium massacre, where over 70 fans were killed, Al Masry hasn’t played an official league game on their stadium. Six and a half years later, Al Masry are filing a lawsuit to go back to playing on their home ground under measures set by the Ministry of Interior.

The lawsuit was filed on 15/10/2018 to play a match on 16/10/2018 but the Ministry of Interior rejected and the match wasn’t played there. Al Masry are now waiting for a ruling which is expected to come out tomorrow which will either see the club play on their home ground again or continue as they are.

If they get an approval from the Egyptian Court of Arbitration and Sports to play on their stadium then the first match could be played against Ismaily on 3/11 in the Egyptian Premier League.
