CAF hand Mohamed Kallon four-game ban for misconduct

The CAF disciplinary board have fined and suspended Sierra Leone’s Mohamed Kallon for misconduct in his side’s defeat against Future FC.

The former Inter Milan forward is currently managing FC Kallon, who are currently ninth in the Sierra Leone Premier League table.

The club recently took on Egyptian outfit Future FC in the CAF Confederation Cup’s second preliminary round back in October.

Future managed to dominate both legs of the encounter as they advanced with a comfortable 6-0 win on aggregate over Kallon.

During the second leg of the tie, FC Kallon manager Mohamed Kallon appeared to have a spat with match officials that didn’t go unnoticed by CAF.

The Sierra Leon Football Association released a statement and confirmed that Kallon received a four-game ban as well as a hefty fine of $10,000 for his behaviour.

Their statement also added that the sanctions are not subject to appeal with CAF setting a deadline for Kallon to pay the fine on January 27th.
