Egypt international Mohamed Elneny opened up about improving as a player, while expressing happiness for winning the Man of the Match award.
The Pharaohs advanced to the AFCON quarter-finals after a thrilling penalty shoot-out victory over Ivory Coast.
The game was extremely close as both teams were close to scoring on more than one occasion throughout the 120 minutes.
Since the first minute of the game, Elneny has been going all out, proving to be a formidable midfielder, resulting in him winning the Man of the Match award.

Speaking on winning the award, Elneny said: “Winning Man of the Match award is very special to me, especially that we won the game and qualified to the quarter-finals.
“I am doing everything I can to help my team and improve from one game to the next.
“We are doing everything we can to win every game with the national team, and we are grateful for our fans’ support, they are the greatest in the world.”
Next, Egypt will be clashing with Morocco in the quarter-finals, the game is scheduled to take place on Sunday at 5:00 PM.
