Abdel Nader has tested negative after Oklahoma City Thunder (OKC) players were exposed to COVID-19.

OKC were in the midst of the pandemic crisis on NBA when their fixture against Utah Jazz was cancelled. The clash was dismissed as Utah’s center Rudy Gobert tested positive.

The Oklahoma men were placed in quarantine as soon as the news were announced. The team and staff have been tested since, however; no signs of COVID-19 were found among the Thunder including American-Egyptian star Abdel Nader.

In a statement OKC insisted that they went for an ‘’alternative path’’ to check their personnel. The motive behind it being to reduce the pressure on the state’s resources.

Nader’ side becomes the second one so far to test completely negative alongside the Toronto Raptors, big names like Kevin Durant have tested positive as other teams await results.

Meanwhile back in Africa, Uganda is the latest country to suspend all sporting activities.
