OFFICIAL: Al Masry sign Amro Tarek from El-Gouna

Egyptian Premier League outfit Al Masry have completed the signing of Amro Tarek from El-Gouna ahead of the new season.

El-Gouna were relegated from the Egyptian Premier League last season after finishing 16th in the standings with 36 points.

As a result, a number of players departed the club to continue playing in the top flight and Amro Tarek became the latest to follow suit.

Tarek had an outstanding season with El-Gouna and made 25 appearances despite suffering a hamstring injury at the end of last year.

The 30-year-old is now set to join Al Masry as he put pen to paper on a three-year contract that will keep him at the club until the end of the 2024/25 season.

Additionally, he is set to become their 10th signing of the summer following the arrival of Hussein El-Sayed, Mahmoud Gad, Anthony Okoptu, Marwan Hamdi, Mohamed Dabash, and Franck Etouga.

It’s worth noting that the club also appointed ex-Egypt head coach Ehab Galal as their new head coach, replacing Hossam Hassan at the helm.
