Liverpool star and top scorer Mohamed Salah has made Alan Shearer’s Team of the Week for the second consecutive week after a stunning goal against Chelsea.
The Reds beat Chelsea on Sunday to go top of the Premier League table with 85 points and put more pressure on champions Manchester City, who have a game in hand.
Salah netted his 19th goal of the season against Chelsea to go level on top of the scoring charts with Manchester City forward Sergio Aguero with 19 goals each.
Alan Shearer’s Team of the Week saw two more Liverpool players make the team as Jordan Henderson and Virgil van Djik both produced a five star performance against Chelsea. Manager Jurgen Klopp was also named manager of the week.
Manchester City duo Raheem Sterling and Kevin de Bruyne also made the team for scoring a brace and providing two assists respectively against Crystal Palace.
Brazilian forward Lucas Moura made the cut for scoring a hat-trick against Huddersfield in a dominant 4-0 win for Tottenham.
The team also includes Bournemouth’s Ryan Fraser, Southampton’s Nathan Redmond, Newcastle’s Jamaal Lascelles, and Arsenal’s duo Laurent Koscielny and Bernd Leno.
