Pyramids star Omar Khribin has been confirmed as an absentee from their big clash against Al Ahly on Thursday following his sending off in his side’s game against Ittihad of Alexandria in the 28th round of the Egyptian Premier League.

Pyramids have completed a sensational comeback against Ittihad after scoring twice to overturn a 2-1 deficit while being one man down to capture huge three points and become only one point away from league leaders Al Ahly.

The 2017 AFC Asian Player of the Year was booked by match official Marius Avram in the first half for dissent, before he received the second yellow in the second half for a tough challenge on Ittihad player.

Pyramids will face Al Ahly in a league leadership face off on Thursday. Game was postponed from the 25th round of the league.

The Red Devils will also miss the game due to suspension after receiving the third yellow in their game against Misr El-Makkasa.
