KingFut rounds up the Pharaohs Abroad action this week to keep you up to date with Egyptian players overseas.
Following the outbreak of Coronavirus, most of the sporting events were suspended. However, the Turkish Super Lig carried on normally as our Pharaohs abroad featured in a number of encounters.
March 11
Karim Hafez – Yeni Malatyaspor (Turkey)
Super Lig – Hafez excluded from squad as Malatyaspor fell to a 3-1 defeat against Trabzonspor in the 25th league table. After the defeat, Hafez’ side occupy the 14th spot with 25 points ahead of their clash against Kayserispor on the 15th of March.
March 15
Karim Hafez – Yeni Malatyaspor (Turkey)
Super Lig – Hafez missed once again as Kayserispor defeated Malatyaspor 2-1 in 26th fixture of the Super Lig. Muris Mesanovic and Pedro Henrique scored the hosts, while, Vidar Kjartansson pulled one back for Malatyaspor. Following the loss, they dropped to the 15th spot with 25 points and will face Kasimpasa on Mar.21.
Mohamed Elneny – Besiktas (Turkey)
Super Lig – Elneny featured as Besiktas held Galatasaray to a dull goalless draw in 26th league fixture. The draw takes the Black Eagles to the fifth spot with 44 points and will face Antalyaspor on Mar.21.
