OFFICIAL: Omar Al Midani joins Ittihad of Alexandria

Former Pyramids FC defender Omar Al Midani has joined Ittihad of Alexandria from Kuwait FC.

The transfer has been made official by the Alexandria based club on Wednesday through their website.

The 26-year-old joined Pyramids FC on the summer transfer window of 2018, where he featured in 12 games, which saw his team finish in a record third-place position in the league and qualify for continental competitions for the first time in their history through CAF Confederation Cup.

The Syria international defender joins Ittihad of Alexandria on a one-and-a-half-year arriving from Kuwait FC, the team he joined in July of 2019 when he departed the Egyptian Premier League side.

This transfer will see Midani join his sixth club in his professional career after having stints at Al-Wahda, Al-Minaa, Hatta Club, Pyramids FC, and Kuwait FC.

Midani debuted for his national team for the first time in 2013 and featured in 41 games ever since scoring just one goal.

Omar joins Ittihad of Alexandria, currently sit third in the league with 25 points from 14 games and will be looking to help his new side compete for a top-three finish at the end of the campaign for a chance of participating in one of the continental competitions.
