Al Ahly and Zamalek managers announce their squads

Al Ahly and Zamalek managers Fathy Mabrouk and Jesualdo Ferrira have both announced their respective squads for their upcoming games in the Egyptian Premier League.

The Reds manager will be facing a tough task naming his sides’s starting XI with Sherif Ekramy, Emad Meteb and Peter Ebimobowei due to miss the game because of injuries, while Hossam Ghaly, Walid Soliman and Abdallah El-Said will miss the encounter due to an accumulation of yellow cards.

On the other hand, the squad list sees the return of Ahmed Abdel-Zaher and Amr Gamal after recovering from their injuries.

The Whites squad list squad list sees Mohamed Koffi, Ahmed Samir, Ahmed Ali, Mahmoud Gennesh and Abdoulaye Cisse all omitted from the squad due to technical reasons.

Al Ahly squad as follows:

Goalkeepers: Ahmed Adel, Mosaad Awad, Abdel Kaffi Ragab.
Defenders: Sherif Abdel-Fadil, Bassem Ali, Saad Samir, Sabry Rahil, Sherif Hazem, Mohamed Hamdy.
Midfielders: Hossam Ashour, Mohamed Rizk, Karim Bambo, Ramadan Sobhy, Islam Roshdy, Hendrick.
Forwards: Amr Gamal, Mohamed Nagy ‘Gedo’, Salahdin Said, Ahmed Abdel-Zaher.

Zamalek squad as follows:

Goalkeepers: Ahmed El-Shennawy, Mohamed Abou-Gabal.
Defenders: Ali Gabr, Ahmed Dweidar, Hamada Tolba, Omar Gaber, Islam Gamal.
Midfielders: Ahmed Tawfik, Tarek Hamed, Ahmed Eid, Mohamed Shaaban, Ayman Hefny, Ibrahim Salah, Hazem Emam, Moruf Yusuf, Mostafa Fathy.
Forwards: Bassem Morsi, Khaled Kamar, Youssed ‘Obama’.

Al Ahly are set to face Misr El-Maqassa at 17:30 CLT, while Zamalek are set to face Damanhour at 20:00 CLT.

Zamalek top the Egyptian Premier League with 70 points with a game in hand, meanwhile Ahly are 3rd with 61 points.
