Raja Casablanca head coach Rachid Taoussi believes in his side’s chances of qualifying for the CAF Champions League semi-finals.

The Moroccan giants made it to the quarter-finals after dominating Group B of the competition with 15 after six games, suffering just one defeat.

The draw revealed that Raja Casablanca will meet champions Al Ahly in the quarter-finals, with the first leg set to take place on Saturday, April 16.

Al Ahly had a difficult start in the Champions League this season, earning qualification to the quarter-finals in their final group game against Sudan’s Al Hilal.

“We are going through a really good phase at the moment. We will do our best to advance to the next round and we will do our best to achieve our goals and make the Raja fans proud.”

The last time both sides met each other was in the CAF Super Cup back in December when Al Ahly came out on top after defeating Raja on penalties to win the African title.
