EPFCA postpone two games for Al Ahly, Pyramids and Al Masry

The Egyptian Professional Clubs’ Association (EPFCA) have decided to postpone two games for Al Ahly, Pyramids FC and Al Masry as they participate in continental competitions.

Al Ahly is the only Egyptian team to reach the quarterfinals of the CAF Champions League after finishing second in their group.

The Red Devils will face Raja Casablanca in the coming round, with the first leg in Cairo on 16 April and the second leg taking place on the 22nd.

Meanwhile, Pyramids and Al Masry reached the CAF Confederation Cup quarterfinals after also finishing second in Group A and Group C respectively.

The former will be up against DR Congo’s TP Mazembe on the 17th and the 24th, while the latter were pitted against RS Berkane of Morocco.

In order to accommodate their schedules, the EPFCA decided to postpone their games on matchdays 14 and 15.

The Al Ahly games against Eastern Company on 12 April and ENPPI on 19 April will be pushed.

On the other hand, Pyramids’ matches on the 13th and the 20th against Smouha and Future were postponed.

Additionally, Al Masry’s matches against Ismaily and Bank Al Ahly, scheduled on the same dates, were also pushed.
