Saudi side Al Nassr show interest in Mostafa Mohamed – Report

Saudi Professional League side, Al Nassr, have reportedly entered the race to sign Egypt and Galatasaray striker Mostafa Mohamed.

Mohamed had joined Galatasaray from Egyptian Premier League side Zamalek on an 18-month loan deal back in January of 2020.

The 24-year-old’s contract also included a clause that allows the Turkish club to buy the player for $4 million at the end of its duration.

With nine goals in 17 appearances across all competitions in his debut season, Galatasaray activated the buy option in Mohamed’s contract last December with the forward signing a three-year deal that runs until the summer of 2025.

Mohamed, however, saw a significant dip in form in his second season, scoring just six goals in 22 appearances, which put many question marks about his future with Galatasaray.

He was recently linked with a move to Ligue 1 with the likes of LOSC Lille, Olympique Marseille, and Olympique Lyonnais all reportedly interested.
