Zizo and Fetouh left-out as Zamalek announce squad for Pyramids clash

Zamalek head coach, Jesualdo Ferreira, announced his 20-man squad to face Pyramids FC in the Egyptian Premier League.

Zamalek are set to face Pyramids FC in matchday 12 of the Egyptian Premier League on Wednesday night at the 30 June Stadium.

The Whites sit in third place with 25 points, one behind Pyramids who occupy the second spot.

The game will be a crucial one for both sides as they hope to keep pushing for the league title.

The defending champions will be without several of their key players namely Ahmed Sayed Zizo and Ahmed Fetouh. It’s unclear why the duo were left-out but several reports suggest it’s due to exhaustion.

Meanwhile, Tunisian striker Seifeddine Jaziri was also excluded from the squad.

Full squad:

Goalkeepers: Mohamed Awad, Mohamed Abou-Gabal.

Defenders: Mahmoud Alaa, Mohamed Abdelghani, Mahmoud Hamdy El-Wensh, Abdallah Gomaa, Hazem Emam, Mohamed Abdelshafy, Hamza Mathlouthi.

Midfielders: Tarek Hamed, Emam Ashour, Mohamed Ashraf ‘Rouka’, Youssef Obama, Islam Gaber, Shikabala, Ayman Hefny, Achraf Bencharki, Razack Cisse.

Forwards: Omar El-Said, Sayed Abdallah.
