TUT FC have secured their first-ever Women’s Egypt Cup title after defeating Al Amereya 2-1 in the final on Wednesday.
The Cairo-based side made their way to the final by picking up wins over Future FC and Pyramids FC in the knockout stages.
Despite their form, TUT had a slow start to the final and went behind in the opening stages of the game before they grabbed the leveller after 25 minutes.
The game also witnessed a grandstand finish with TUT FC grabbing a stoppage-time winner in the 90th minute to secure the Egypt Cup title.
