Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr are reportedly set to compete with Crystal Palace for the signing of Sporting winger Marcus Edwards.
Edwards had been linked with a move to Al-Nassr last summer with the Saudi club almost triggering his release clause according to multiple reports.
However, a move never materialised with the Riyadh side spending over £125 million on transfers after acquiring Seko Fofana, Alex Telles, Marcelo Brozovic, Otavio, Aymeric Laporte and Sadio Mane.
After another impressive season for Sporting, Edwards has been attracting strong interest from Premier League clubs led by Crystal Palace who are reportedly keen on landing the Englishman this summer.

The Eagles have already lodged a reported £15 million bid for the 25-year-old but will face tough competition from Saudi clubs.
A recent report by A Bola revealed that Al-Nassr are planning to make a second attempt and will submit an improved bid for the winger.
Sporting are said to be expecting a higher bid from Al-Nassr after rejecting Palace’s initial offer with Edwards being valued at around £20 million according to Transfermarkt.
The Tottenham Hotspur youth product has been involved in 15 goal contributions last season, netting six goals and providing nine assists in all competitions.
