VIDEO: Kouka scores winner for Alanyaspor, picks up injury

Egypt international striker Ahmed Hassan Kouka scored the winning goal for Alanyaspor in their match against Ümraniyespor in the Turkish Super Lig on Friday.

The game took place at the Antalya Stadium as Kouka’s Alanyaspor, who are set for a mid-table finish, hosted relegation contenders Ümraniyespor.

Having missed their last game against Gaziantep FK, Kouka started from the beggining and didn’t need much time to leave his mark.

Only four minutes into the game, Kouka pounced on Yusuf Özdemir’s cross with a brilliant header that beat keeper Orkun Özdemir and proved to be the winner.

The goal took Kouka’s season tally to ten goals in the league as he overtake Abdelzaher El Saka to become the third-ever most proflic Egyptian in the Turkish Super Lig with 18 goals in 54 games.

However, the night didn’t end in good news for Kouka after he was forced off with an injury and left the pitch in tears as he was replaced by Efthymios Koulouris.

The win moved Alanyaspor up to 10th in the Turkish Super Lig with 38 points from 31 games and look set for a mid-table finish as only five games left to be played.
