Marcel Koller 'not worried' ahead of Raja Casablanca clash

Al Ahly head coach Marcel Koller has expressed his confidence in his team ahead of their clash against Raja Casablanca in Morocco.

The Reds managed to win the first-leg of the CAF Champions League quarter-final 2-0 in Cairo, thanks to goals from Mohamed Abdelmonem and Hamdi Fathi.

They will now need to avoid losing by more than a two-goal margin in order to seal their spot in the semi-finals for the fourth consecutive year.

Speaking ahead of the game, Marcel Koller said: “We are ready to face a strong Raja team, which will rely on its fans tomorrow.

“We still have a tough second leg in Morocco ahead of us, but we have a lot of experience in those types of games.

“We are not at all worried about injuries, and everyone is looking forward to the game. The team’s performance is constantly improving, as evidenced by the results achieved in the recent period.

“We have a distinguished list of players, and the convergence of everyone’s levels makes it easy to compensate for the absences that the team suffers,” he added.
