Sam Morsy – Wigan Atheltic (England)
April 27 – Championship – After securing Championship safety last week, Morsy was excluded from the squad as Wigan drew 1-1 against Birmingham City in the 45th League fixture. Lucas Jutkiewicz opened the scoring for the hosts just 2 minutes into the game. However, Nick Powel levelled things up for the Latics in the dying moments of the first half. After the draw, Morsy’s side occupy the 18th spot with 49 points and are set to face Millwall in the final fixture of the Championship.
Ahmed Hegazi – West Brom (England)
April 27 – Championship – The Egyptian defender returned as West Brom registered a hard-fought comeback to defeat Rotherham United 2-1 in the Championship’s 45th fixture. Clark Robertson broke the deadlock for the visitors in the 50th minute. Jay Rodriguez netted the equaliser for the Baggies in 77th minute. Hegazi’s side took the lead less than two minutes later through Rekeem Harper to snatch a valuable win for his team. Following the win, West Brom remain fourth with 80 points ahead of their clash against Frank Lampard’s Derby County on the fifth of May.
Ali Ghazal – C.D. Feirense (Portugal)
April 27 – Liga Nos –Ghazal remained on the bench as Feirense suffered a 1-0 loss against Portimonense in the 31st League fixture. Tabata’s first-half goal secured the win for the hosts. Ghazal’s side remain at the league’s bottom spot with just 15 points and will face Chaves on May.4.
Mohamed Elneny – Arsenal (England)
April 28 – Premier League –Elneny remained on the bench in Arsenal’s 3-0 shocking loss against Leicester City in the 36th fixture of the English Premier League. Youri Tielemans opened the scoring before Jamie Vardy netted a brilliant brace in the second half. After the win, Arsenal sit fifth with 66 points ahead of their encounter against Valencia in the Europa League on May.2.
Amro Tarek – NY Red Bulls (USA)
April 28 – MLS – Amro Tarek played 77 minutes in Red Bull’s 1-0 victory against FC Cincinnati in the MLS, thanks to the first half goal scored by Connor Lade. The victory takes Tarek’s side to the ninth spot with 8 points ahead of their clash against LA Galaxy next week.
Mahmoud Trezeguet – Kasimpasa (Turkey)
April 30 – Turkish Super Lig – Trezeguet assisted Kasimpasa’s only goal, while Hafez came on as a second-half substitute in Kasimpasa’s 2-1 defeat against Yeni Malatyaspor in the league’s 30th fixture. The young fullback was shown a yellow card in the 70th minute, meanwhile, Trezeguet also received a yellow card in the dying moments of the game. After the loss, Kasimpasa sit 10th with 38 points and are set to face Fenerbahce next week.
