El-Gouna announced the signing of Al Ahly players Akram Tawfik and Islam Gaber in the January transfer window on loan for six months.
Before Tawfik and Gaber’s deal, El-Gouna signed five players on loan from Al Ahly including goalkeeper Omar Radwan, Amr El-Saadawy, Ahmed Hamdi, and Ahmed Yasser Rayan.
Tawfik joined Al Ahly in 2016 coming from ENPPI, however, despite winning the Egyptian Premier League title with the club twice in addition to Egypt Cup, he made only 19 appearances with the Red Devils.
Islam Gaber, who is yet to play for Al Ahly as he was the club’s most recent signing in January coming from Al Aluminium, will also join Tawfik in El-Gouna.
