Ahmed Eid parts ways with Ismaily, returns to Zamalek

Zamalek’s Ahmed Eid parted ways with Ismaily despite his loan extending until the end of the season after reaching an agreement to return to his parent club.

Eid Joined Ismaily last summer on a one-year loan deal, as Zamalek right back sought more playtime.

However, Since joining Ismaily, the 21-year-old failed to find himself a spot among the regular starting 11, only featuring in three league games.

In the final hours of the winter transfer window, Zamalek sporting director, Amir Mortada Mansour announced that Eid has officially returned to the team after prematurely ending his loan with Ismaily.

Since his first-team debut, Eid represented Zamalek in 22 games, in which he provided one assist. He was also a part of The White Knights squad that won the 2020/21 Egyptian Premier League.

It’s worth noting that Zamalek haven’t registered new players since last summer, as the club is banned from making new transfers.

Since they can’t make new transfers, Zamalek are trying to make sure they can use all their resources in order to defend their Egyptian Premier League title.
