OFFICIAL: Al Masry sign Asante Kotoko striker Franck Etouga

Egyptian Premier League side Al Masry have officially signed Asante Kotoko striker Franck Etouga on a permanent deal.

Al Masry had a disappointing run in their last Egyptian Premier League campaign, finishing in 13th place.

Consequently, they are trying to rebuild the team, and they started with the head coach as they appointed ex-Egypt national team manager Ehab Galal as a successor to Hossam Hassan.

Furthermore, they signed a number of big names, including Egyptian international Marwan Hamdi, ENPPI’s promising goalkeeper Mahmoud Gad, ES Setif midfielder Abderrahim Deghmoum, and Wydad centre-back Imadeddine Boubekeur.

Yesterday, another name was added to the list of newcomers as the club officially announced the signing of Asante Kotoko forward Franck Etouga.

Etouga is a 21-year-old Cameroonian striker who’s showing impressive potential at a young age. In just 30 appearances, he netted 21 goals and provided two assists for Kotoko.

The player put pen to paper on a three-year contract with the Green Eagles as he’s expected to represent the team until 2025.
