Record-holders Al Ahly are set to face Tunisia’s US Monastir in the 2022/23 CAF Champions League round of 32.
The Red Devils had managed to reach the finals of the past three CAF Champions Leagues, winning the 2020 and 2021 versions, before falling in the last one.
They now intend to reclaim their title as they start their African campaign by facing Tunisian outfit US Monastir.
Monastir started their African campaign in the round of 64 where they clashed with Armée Patriotique Rwandaise Football Club.

The match-up was quite easy for the Tunisian as they managed to come out on top with a result of 3-1 on aggregate.
The next round of the CAF Champions League takes place in October, the first leg will be played between the 7th and the 9th while the second leg will be played a week after.
