Egyptian Premier League record-holders Al Ahly have announced the signing of Ceramica Cleopatra forward Mostafa Saad Messi.
Al Ahly had a season to forget, which urged club president Mahmoud El-Khatib to promise the fans a summer rebuild to add to a squad that drastically underperformed this season.
As a result, the club is now working on strengthening its squad with new signings, with the first two arrivals being Bruno Savio who joined the Reds from Bolivar La Paz, and Shady Hussein who joined from Ceramica Cleopatra.
Moreover, the club has now announced the signing of Ceramica’s talented youngster Mostafa Saad Messi.
Mostafa Saad, known as Messi, is a 20-year-old winger who is a product of the Cleopatra FC academy and was promoted to the first team just last season.
Since then, he has been a regular starter for the team, scoring once and assisting three times in 29 games.
The forward put pen to paper on a five-year contract and he’s expected to make his debut for the Reds by the start of next season.
