Tunisian team, Club African, sent Zamalek a formal letter requesting to sign the club’s winger Mostafa Fathi.
Club African revealed in their letter that they would like to sign the Fathi for a two and a half years contract. However, their management hasn’t received any response from Zamalek officials yet.
At the start of the season, the 24-year-old winger returned to the White Knights after spending a loan spell at Saudi club Al Taawoun. Unfortunately, Fathi was not able to convince the club’s coach, Christian Gross, of his abilities and was ruled out of the squad.
Fathi is yet to feature for Zamalek in any of the team’s league games this season
Fathi has recently signed a new four-year contract extension to keep him at the White Castle until 2022. There has also been media speculation regarding Pyramids FC interest in the player, as they aim to sign him during January’s transfer window.
