Mohamed Elneny saw a late red card as Arsenal secured their third consecutive Premier League win against Southampton at the Emirates.
The Gunners managed to secure their sixth consecutive win for the first time this season, beating Southampton 3-2 in a thrilling game at the Emirates.

Arsenal started the game dominating possession and controlling the midfield with their passing as always, but that didn’t prevent Southampton from scoring the opening goal, after Shane Long took advantage of Mustafi’s poor defending in the 17th minute to make it 1-0 for Southampton.
The Gunners didn’t look satisfied with the scoreline, as they started to push forward more and press the opponent in their own half, and their efforts got rewarded when record signing Aubamyeng managed to convert Danny Welbeck’s flick into the net.
It didn’t stop there, Danny Welbeck fired a wonderful strike in the 38th minute, making it 2-1 for the Gunners.

The second-half started with a poor performance from the hosts, which saw Southampton pressing Arsenal to get the equalizer and managed to do so in the 73rd minute through Charlie Austin.
Only nine minutes before the final whistle, Danny Welbeck managed to score his second of the game, converting Alex Iwobi’s perfect cross, handing Arsene Wenger’s side the victory.
In the 90th minute, Mohamed Elneny received a controversial red card after a clash with defender Cedric.
The red card means that he will miss Arsenal’s upcoming three league games against each of Newcastle United, West Ham, and Manchester United.
