Former Stoke City winger Liam Lawrence has included Egypt international Sam Morsy in his list of targets for the Potters approaching this summer transfer window.
Watchers of Stoke City in their initial spell in the Premier League in the late 2000s may remember their Ireland international winger Liam Lawrence who made over 100 appearances for the club.

Now retired, the 38-year-old covers the club as a matchday summariser and has named the areas in which Stoke need to address ahead of the 2020-21 season.
One of the names mentioned was that of Wigan Athletic captain Sam Morsy, where Lawrence said: “I think they need another player in the mould of Cousins.
“I like Morsy at Wigan, I was really impressed with him, he ran the show when we played up there,” he added.
Should Stoke follow Lawrence’s advice, Morsy would become the second Egyptian to play there after Ramadan Sobhi’s spell in the last few years.
The Egyptian midfielder was also linked with moves to Premier League duo Crystal Palace and Brighton & Hove Albion, according to reports
Going into the final day of Championship games, Stoke have now avoided relegation with a surprise win over Brentford while Wigan may still go down if they are unable to finish more than 12 points clear of the bottom three, of which they are currently 10 points ahead.
