Elneny’s Arsenal set for Carabao Cup North London Derby

Arsenal are set to go head-to-head with rivals Tottenham Hotspur in the Carabao Cup quarter-finals after Spurs’ victory over fellow Premier League outfits West Ham United.

Arsenal managed to beat Blackpool 2-1 in the absence of Egypt international Mohamed Elneny, who is set to miss out on action for two weeks through injury.

Subsequently, the Gunners would’ve faced the winner from another London derby between Spurs and the Hammers.

Arsenal face Tottenham during the week of 17th of December in the cup. The match is schedule in just over two weeks from their other league clash scheduled on the second of December.

Elneny’s side reached last season’s Carabao Cup final but were dealt a loss by Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City as the Spaniard won his maiden title in charged of City.
