Pyramids FC center back moves to Kuwait SC

Syrian international and Pyramids FC center back, Omar Al Midani has joined Kuwaiti side, Kuwait SC on a one-year contract after the termination of his contract with the club.

The Syrian defender has started his career at Syrian side Al Wahda and then moved to Iraqi side Al-Minaa SC in 2014, where spent two seasons, before returning back to his boyhood club.

The 25-year-old was a former target for Al Ahly, but the Red Devils opted not to sign him before he agreed to join Pyramids FC.

Al Midani excelled during the second half of the Egyptian Premier League with Pyramids under new coach Ramon Diaz, playing 10 games and helping the team reach the third place of the league for the first time in the club’s history.

His performance caught the eyes of Kuwait SC, whose coach Hossam El Sayed insisted on signing the Syrian international after the termination of his contract with Pyramids FC.
