Zamalek assistant coach, Amir Megahed, expressed his team’s determination in winning the Egyptian League after getting crowned CAF Confederation Cup champions.
The White Knights were crowned Champions of the 2019 CAF Confederation Cup after defeating RS Berkane 5-3 in penalties in a match that ended 1-1 on aggregate.
Megahed talked about his team’s victory stating, “We worked really hard for this championship and thanks to God, we managed to please all the fans in the stadium.”
He added, “Our results speak for themselves. We have managed to win an African title for the first time since 2003. Zamalek are performing well in the league and we will fight hard for the title.”
