Liverpool FC manager Jurgen Klopp heaped praise on Mohamed Salah after his latest performance, culminating in a goal against Hertha Berlin.
Salah scored his third goal in four preseason games, as Liverpool defeated Hertha Berlin 3-0 on Saturday afternoon.
Salah once again made use of a great assist from Brazilian midfielder Coutinho, and Klopp was quick to compliment both of them after the game.
“I think players like this understand each other,” Klopp said.
“It’s a good thing having players of this quality. They can connect. The pass from Phil was very nice and the finish from Salah wasn’t too bad also,” Klopp finished.
The German revealed he was happy with their performance especially after his team completed three training sessions the day before the game. “We did those three sessions because we wanted it to feel difficult for the boys,” Klopp explained.
Liverpool’s next game is in the Audi Cup against Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich on Tuesday evening.
