Egypt national team star was happy with the farewell greetings of the Egyptian fans at Cairo Stadium as the Egyptian squad prepares to travel to Russia.
Egypt had a public training session in front of the fans before they travel to Russia for the World Cup, which Mohamed Salah did not participate in as he continues to recover from his shoulder injury.
Salah continues his rehabilitation as he has not participated in any team training with Egypt since his shoulder injury in the Champion’s League Final.
Salah entered the stadium with the rest of the Egyptian players and greeted the fans, but was with the technical staff as the team began their training.
The Egyptian side hopes to have Salah for their opener against Urugay, but Dr. El-Ela said he will know more about Salah’s status in two days time.
Egypt travel to Russia on Sunday as they prepare for their first match on June 15th.
