Turkish giants have reportedly joined the race for Egypt winger Mahmoud Trezeguet, who is being highly sought after on the back of an impressive season at Kasimpasa.

Earlier this month, reports emerged that Italian side Fiorentina expressed interest in Trezeguet. The English Premier League’s Watford also appear to be amongst his suitors.

As recently as this week, Kasimpasa’s sporting director commented on Trezeguet’s situation, including that he doesn’t think the Egyptian will leave.

The most recent reports have Turkish league champions Galatasaray with interest in Trezeguet, with talks apparently advanced enough to have held meetings in Italy as Egypt stay there during the National Team camp. Trezeguet’s 13 goals and 6 assists in the Turkish league this season have surely caught Galatasaray’s eye.

It’s important to note that Trezeguet has a 5 million euro release clause, only valid until the end of this month.
