Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp spoke about Mohamed Salah after the Egyptian star picked up a shoulder injury, commenting on his chances to play at the World Cup.

The German gave a status update, saying, “Mo has gone to hospital for an x-ray. It is either the collar bone or the shoulder itself. It is very bad for Mo, very bad for us, very bad for Egypt.”

Replying to a question asked about the challenge by Sergio Ramos that led to the injury, he described it as “harsh”. He continued, “The situation with Ramos and Mo was really bad. It was a shock for the team. We dropped a little bit too deep after it and we had to run, work, and when half-time came…yeah. What can I say about the goals? They scored one we scored three.”

When asked about Salah’s World Cup chances and if the winger is a doubt, he replied, “Yes, he is.”

Salah came off around the 30th minute for Liverpool, and the Reds lost the Champion’s League final by a score of 3-1 to Real Madrid.
