Alexandre Lacazette scored a late equaliser as Arsenal and Liverpool shared the spoils at the Emirates in the 11th round of the Premier League.
Mohamed Salah started the game but had a quiet game, while Mohamed Elneny was left out of the Arsenal squad due to a thigh injury.
Both teams started off the match looking to score the first goal and it was Liverpool who managed to do so, however, Mane’s strike was ruled out for an offside.
Arsenal had a number of chances to score as Aubameyang saw his shot diverted wide by Joe Gomez, Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s header went inches off target, and Lacazette was put through by Özil, but his shot went narrowly wide.
On the other hand, Firmino hit the post in the 18th minute and towards the end of the first-half, Virgil Van Dijk beat Leno to the ball, but his header hit the post.
Alexandre Lacazette also scored in the first-half, but it was ruled out for an offside on Mustafi.
In the second-half, James Milner broke the deadlock after Leno pushed Mane’s cross into Milner’s way, and the Englishman had no problem to slot the ball home.
Just minutes after scoring, Lucas Torreira had the chance to score an instant equaliser when he drove forward before forcing a save from Alisson.
The hosts kept looking for the equaliser and it finally came after Lacazette received a magnificent ball for Alex Iwobi, before putting the ball past Alisson.
In the 94th minute, Mohamed Salah was replaced by Joel Matip, as both sides shared the points at the Emirates Stadium.
Following the draw, Liverpool top the league with 27 points, one ahead of Man City, however, the latter have a game in hand against Southampton, while Arsenal sit fourth with 23 points.
Mohamed Salah’s side will travel to Serbia to face Red Star Belgrade in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday, while Arsenal will host Sporting Lisbon on Thursday.
